Greetings to all those interested in Genealogy. Thank you for stopping by our Page. I have been working on my Family Tree and its many branches for about 3 years on and off. I have made much progress I believe in documenting my family lineage and that of my wife Sharron. We would be happy if you could spend a little time here and maybe add some information if you could . I have quite a bit of documentation, newspaper clippings's and photographs I would be happy to share with family members both existing and prospective.
Genealogy is the study of the descents of families and persons from an ancestor or ancestors. As a hobby it can become, and indeed has, pleasantly addictive, at least to the person concerned and that is certainly the case with myself and maybe to a lesser extent Sharron my wife. The study of family history and family genealogy used to be synonymous. Now family history applies to biographical research into one's ancestors - putting flesh on the bones, so to speak. The aim of this project is to produce a well-documented narrative history for family members and other interested researchers. I have attempted to do this by use of this site which gives a broad outline of the families in my past and of course current family as well as stories and photographs both past and present.
This site covers the family genealogies of my parents and my wife’s parents - four surnames Pearson or Pierson, Armstrong, Clydesdale, and Law, with many collateral branches.
I have enjoyed researching all branches of the family, uncovering the odd skeleton as we go along.
My Family Tree is documented in a dedicated genealogical family tree building site which slots everyone in where they belong with its particular branch of our tree. Therefore you will find hyper linked names throughout the site will bring you to that family, individual name or story. I hope you enjoy ‘rummaging as much as I have enjoyed putting the whole Tree Thing together
